REVISED TENTATIVE PROGRAM
Below is the tentative conference program, still subject to changes.
A few explanatory notes:
- the pre-conference tour will arrive at the conference venue at around ~15:00;
- the registration desk will be open for a couple of hours by the end of the afternoon, as well as during the conference;
- every day, session chairmen and contributors of that day living at the venue will be briefed during breakfast;
- at the end of each session, all presentations are summarized in a short plenum discussion led by the session chair;
- opening and closing sessions are held in plenum, technical sessions and workshops all run two in parallel;
- coffee/tea/refreshment breaks all last 30mins, lunch break lasts 75mins;
- guided poster sessions are aimed at enhancing communication between colleagues by providing a relaxed and informal atmosphere (viz. the Concrete Café);
- the organ recital is given in the nearby Nidaros Cathedral (originated in 997 AD), and the subsequent welcome reception (courtesy Trondheim Municipality) is given in the adjacent Archbishopric;
- the technical visit includes coach transport all the way for your personal safety;
- a separate spouses program will be organized during the conference;
- spouses are warmly invited to join the conference banquet on Thursday;
